For years I have been incorporating clinical nutrition as the third component of my practice, the other 2 are chiropractic (durr, obviously) and, thirdly, aspects relating to how psycho – emotional issues have a direct effect on our physical well being.
It never ceases to amaze me how something as simple as removing gluten for your diet can have such a profound effect on your total state of well being. No matter whether its heartburn, constipation, fatigue, memory loss, bloating, spastic colon, skin irritations and anything else you’d like to add to the list, a gluten allergy may be the cause.
It’s so simple. Cut out gluten from your diet for 10 days and you’ll know whether it is the gluten that’s the culprit.
But, you have to be REALLY strict. Gluten is found in wheat, oats, barley and rye so ANYTHING containing these products is a definite NO,NO for the full 10 days. Be sure to check labels…there’s wheat in almost everything, or so it seems anyway!! Even Soy sauce!!
